MasterTar recommends tarmac surfaces (also called tarmac, asphalt or blacktop) for road construction on sites with high traffic volumes. Such sites include commercial driveways and parking areas, entrance roads, factory yards, storehouse areas and light industrial sites.
If you are planning to surface a new site with tar, bear in mind that the proposed traffic concentration and vehicular weight limitations of that site will influence our proposal for the best sub-base. The location itself will also influence what sub-base is needed. Allowance must also be made for under-tar reticulation.
MasterTar would prefer to check the site plan and specs before quoting. Our sister divisions for Civils, Paving and Roads will execute the preparatory earthworks and road finishings, respectively. Our approach is to supply a seamlessly managed contract for the whole asphalt project and obviate likely delays created when sub-contractors interact with one another to schedule their operations.
Should the road surface become cracked or damaged by chemical spills or mechanical gouging once it is taken into use, MasterTar will be available to quote on appropriate maintenance and repair procedures for your tar, tarmac or asphalt.
